Temporary Global Closure of Passport Sections - All Pakistan Missions Abroad
Due to a systematic error and necessary upgradation of the Machine Readable Passport (MRP) system worldwide, the Passport Sections at all Pakistan Missions abroad will remain closed from today, 29 April 2026, until tomorrow, 30 April 2026.
This issue is global and affects all Pakistani passport-issuing offices internationally.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
All affected appointments will be rebooked during next week, and applicants will be notified of their new appointment dates via email.
