“Pakistan’s defence industry is driven by innovation and strategic partnerships”.

“First ever dedicated pavilion for British defence industry at IDEAS 2024, manifests the strong ties between Pakistan and Britain”; High Commissioner, Dr. Mohammad Faisal

Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Mohammad Faisal said that Pakistan’s defence industry was driven by innovation and strategic partnerships. He was addressing a pre-event reception organised by the Pakistan High Commission, London for British firms participating in the upcoming International Defence Exhibition & Seminar (IDEAS), Pakistan's premier defence exhibition to be held at Karachi from November 19-22, 2024. The senior management of the reputed firms including NSSL Global, 3D Global, Total Integrated Services Ltd, Integrated Procurement Technology, and Mechanical Field Support, along with ADS Group and Department of Business & Trade of UK Government participated in the reception.

"The establishment of the UK pavilion at IDEAS 2024 marked a significant milestone in our defence cooperation," said Dr. Mohammad Faisal, High Commissioner of Pakistan to the UK. "This historic participation demonstrated UK's confidence in Pakistan's defence market and would facilitate positive reviews of our defence capabilities, foster meaningful partnerships, and accrue benefits for both nations."

For the first time in the history of IDEAS, a dedicated UK pavilion would be established. A 25-member UK delegation, including Airbus Defence and Space, MBDA, and the Pakistan Britain Business Council, will also attend IDEAS 2024, under the supervision of the Defence Wing of High Commission of Pakistan, London.

The successful coordination between Procurement Division of Defence Wing, High Commission of Pakistan, ADS Group, and the UK Department of Business and Trade made the UK pavilion possible. This collaborative effort showcased the commitment to promoting UK-Pakistan defence cooperation.

IDEAS 2024 would provide an ideal platform for defence forces to assess the latest products and technologies, facilitating meetings and networking opportunities with high-profile delegates, policymakers, diplomats, and defence procurement experts.
