Amina Ansari pays tribute to the Quaid-i-Azam by drawing his sketch on the occasion of 74th Independence Day of Pakistan

London:  A young British Pakistani artist Amina Ansari has drawn a beautiful sketch of a portrait of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation on the occasion of 74th Independence Day of Pakistan.

Amina used dry pastels using her vivid imagination as she senses a prism of colours in Jinnah's portrait, one would find his most notable features in abstract linings only. It has been drawn on textured black paper.

Expressing her feelings about the portrait, Amina said:

“I simply wanted to pay him tribute on this Independence Day by making his sketch. I grew up listening about our great Quaid and he is my hero. I love his three principles: Faith, Unity and Discipline. My salute to Muhammad Ali Jinnah!”

Amina Ansari is also known as Amina Art Ansari.

The High Commissioner for Pakistan encourages the young British Pakistani artists to adorn the High Commission's website with their art work to express their love and affection for their country of origin and the Founding Father of Pakistan.
