Requirements for Attestation and Legalisation of documents vary depending upon nationality of the executant and origin of the document. Please read the following information carefully before visiting the High Commission for attestation / legalisation of your documents.

Pension Papers / Life Certifcate Requirements:

  • Pension papers / Life Certificate in original and copy.
  • Original and Copy of Pakistani's CNIC, NICOP / Passport (Valid).
  • Note:

  • There is no fee for attestaion of Pension papers / Life Certficate.
  • No Need to book any appointment for the attestation of Pension papers / Life Certificate only.
  • Automation of Power of Attorney - Apply Online

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    The deadline for registration of a power of Attorney attested by the High Commission for Pakistan, London or its Sub-Missions, at Manchester, Birmingham, Bradford and Glasgow, from the concerned Assistant Commissioner/Additional Collector/Sub-Registrar etc. meant for attorney/nominee in Pakistan is: four months.

    Prerequisite for documents originating from Pakistan

    All documents originating from Pakistan first need to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or one of its Camp Offices prior to Attestation / Legalisation from the High Commission for Pakistan, London.

    Prerequisite for official / public documents originating from the UK OR documents of British nationals

    All official / public documents originating from UK OR documents of British nationals first need to be attested from Legalisation department of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO)
