Consul General Birmingham clarifies

 

Pakistan Consul General in Birmingham has, in an official communication to High Commission for Pakistan in London, denied any statement attributed to him or his close sources regarding his allegedly forced expulsion from theUK.

 

He has clarified that neither did he give any statement nor did he speak to any media person of any undeserved treatment meted out to him by the High Commission for Pakistan in London in the aftermath of traffic incident with the Birmingham Police in August 2011.

 

He communicated that in fact he himself had requested for his transfer back to Foreign Office Islamabad earlier in June 2011 on account of exclusively personal reasons.

 

Statements attributed to sources close to him are a source of great stress  and concern to him, he further stated.
