Things you should know before you apply

 

1.    NICOP application processing via NSRC (London, Birmingham and Manchester) does not require any photograph or filled NICOP application form. Each applicant’s physical appearance is compulsory and biometrics and photograph is captured inside office.

2.    Applicant must choose his/her correct “NICOP Application Type” before submission of application.

3.    Wrong “NICOP Application Type” results in rejection of application and loss of fee.

4.    NICOP application process comprises 5 steps which are as under.

                    i.        Token issuance.

                  ii.        Capturing of photograph and fingerprints.

                 iii.        Data Entry

                 iv.        Personal details checking in NICOP application form error / mistake

                  v.        Attestation of NIOCP application form (only for New NICOP application type)

5.    All documents are required to be produced in original.

6.    For documents originating in Pakistan like birth certificate, educational documents, marriage paper etc. attestation by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs or its regional camp offices is a pre-requisite.

7.    In case of Child’s NICOP application, his/her parents must have updated their marital status as "Married" in NADRA CNIC data.

8.    NICOP holders having less than 15 years age, have to renew their cards, once they reach the age of 15 years.

9.    Already CNIC/NICOP holders marked as “System Independent” (Single in NADRA Database) must provide at least one first blood relative (Father/Mother/Sister/Brother/Son/Daughter/Husband/Wife) computerized ID card number (13 digits) as a reference to establish family linkage, otherwise their application will remain pending till provision of number.

10. NICOP issuance is subject to fulfilling Government of Pakistan Registration policy, verification of applicant particulars and technical requirements. In case of any complication, NICOP application may be rejected / delayed and NADRA office request you to visit again for clarification / removal of objection.
