Urgently Required Items for the Floods Affectees of Pakistan

 

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of Pakistan has conveyed the following list of goods / items alongwith their specifications urgently required for flood affectees:

 

1.    High energy biscuits only.

2.    Family tents (both normal as well as winterized).

3.    Blankets.

4.    Plastic sheets.

5.    Mosquito nets (preferably LLIN).

6.    Water purification equipment (preferably family straw).

7.    Water purification tablets / aqua tab.

8.    Medicines (Click here for details).

9.    Hygiene kits, as per sphere standard, as per following specifications:

                              i.      10 litres water container for storage: one per household

                            ii.      250g bathing soap: per person per month

                           iii.      200g Laundry soap: per person per month

                           iv.      Tooth paste 75ml/100g: 01 No. per person per month

                            v.      Tooth brush: 01 No. per person per month

10. De-watering pumps, as per following specifications:

Performance:

-        Discharge range from 342-1500 m3/hr

-        Head range from 32m – 43m

-        Practical size range from 40mm – 70mm

Pipe Connection:

-        Suction range from 150mm – 300mm

-        Discharge range from 150mm – 300mm

Fuel Tank:

-        Range from 130 – 320 Litres Capacity

 

 

Name of the Consignee in Pakistan and arrangements for clearance at Karachi airport/ delivery to the affected areas will be made by Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Sindh.
