Establishment of Fuel Farms and Operation &
Maintenance of Hydrant Refueling System on Public
Private Partnership (PPP) Basis at New Benazir Bhutto International Airport,
Islamabad
Government
of Pakistan is determined to improve and expand infrastructure services through
Public Private Partnership (PPP) program and sustain economic and social
development in the country. In this regard the Infrastructure Project
Development Facility (IPDF), a company set up under the umbrella of Ministry of
Finance is the focal organisation which is responsible to develop policy
guidelines, frameworks and feasibilities for promoting PPPs in Pakistan. Since
its creation, IPDF has undertaken various PPP projects in diverse sectors
including transport, roads, logistics, municipal services, renewable energy,
agriculture, healthcare, education and railways sectors.
IPDF
with the collaboration of with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) have recently
launched a new project “Establishment of Fuel Farms and Operation &
Maintenance of Hydrant Refueling System at New
Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad, Pakistan. This project is
aimed to be undertaken through PPP with private sector participation and partnership.
