Ulema delegation calls on Pakistan High Commissioner

 

London: A ten Member delegation of Ulema, led by Maulana Abdul Rehman Bawa of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Academy , London called on Pakistan High Commissioner to UK Mr. Wajid Shamsul Hasan, today.

 

The delegation discussed the significance of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat and status of Qadiyanis according to constitution of Pakistan . The High Commissioner reiterated that Qadiyanis are treated in accordance with the provisions of Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Therefore any other interpretation in this regard would be incorrect.

 

The High Commissioner emphasized the need for forging unity among the Pakistani Community to meet the multiple challenges being faced by the country. Later the delegation offered prayers for the safety, solidarity and prosperity of Pakistan . Besides Maulana Abdul Rehman Bawa the delegation included Maulana Ijaz Ahmed Nairvi of East London Mosque, Maulana Khalid Mehmood of Jamiat Ulema UK, Maulana Iqbal Awan, Alkhateeb, Sec. Ulema Council UK Islamic Mission, Mufti Abdul Wahab of Sawad-e-Azam Ahl-e-Sunnat, Maulana Sabeel Bawa of Khatm-e-Nabuwat Academy, Maulana Imdad-ul_Hasan Naumani of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Education  Centre, Maulana Khalil -ur-Rehman of Jamiat Ulema Britain and Syed Jamal Badshah of Jamiat Ulema Britain.

 

The High Commissioner was assisted by the Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Asif Durrani, Minister Community Welfare Mr. Salis Kiyani, Counsellor Community Welfare, Mrs. Shehnaz Mazhar, Press Counsellor Syeda Sultana Rizvi, Head of Chancery Mr. Aftab Hasan Khan, and Third Secretary Political Mr. Taj Khan.
