Pakistan Fashion Extravaganza

 

Six leading fashion designers from Pakistan earned great applause and appreciation at Pakistan Fashion Extravaganza organized by Vision Events International in London Saturday.

 

In the Fashion show that was arranged with the purpose of promoting Pakistan’s fashion apparels in UK, the traditional and modern dresses of Pakistani designers of international acclaim including Umer Sayed, Niki Nina and Faiza Samee were presented by top models from Pakistan. Models Nadia Hussain and Mehreen Sayyed had specially flown from Islamabad to participate in this event. Designer Jewellery by Bushra Aftab also remained one of the big attractions for the audience drawn from various nationalities.

 

Speaking on the occasion Pakistan’s Deputy High Commissioner to UK  Mr. Asif Durrani highlighted the significance of cultural events for the promotion of Pakistani culture and products. He lauded the efforts of Vision Events International for introducing Pakistani fashion designers in European market and expressed the hope that Pakistani designers would be able to expand their presence in the haute contour outlets around the world.

 

The extravaganza was attended by large number of Pakistani and British audience who enjoyed beautiful choreography of the show by Imran Qureshi combined with enthralling music by local groups.

 

Mr. Taimur Malik and Ali Malik of  Vision Events International appreciated the support provided to them by the Pakistan High Commission and said that they would continue to undertake such efforts to correct misperceptions about Pakistan and bring in forefront the vibrant Pakistani culture.
