Attestation of Documents & Legalization 

Attestation of documents such as power of attorney and authority letter etc. should either be signed by the executants in front of the High Commission's official or attested by the Commissioner of Oaths. Copy of passport of the executants should accompany the document to be attested.


For documents originating in UK, attestation by legalization department of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, London is a pre-requisite. 


For documents originating in Pakistan, attestation by the Pakistan Foreign Office is a pre-requisite.


Fees* for power of attorney are as following  

     £ 3 + 2 (Bank charges) for one person

     £ 5 + 2 (Bank charges) for two persons

     £ 7 + 2 (Bank charges) for three persons

     £ 9 + 2 (Bank charges) for four persons

     £ 15 + 2 (Bank charges) for five persons

 

For all other documents fee* is £ 6 + 2 (Bank charges)

 

 

*£ 2.00 mentioned with all fees above is bank surcharge per application for consular services being charged at all Pakistan Consulates including London
